Highlights
I have provided support to the trailblazing scholar and pianist Samantha Ege, as she has forged a path to becoming a leading authority on the music of historically neglected (and thanks in part to her - now celebrated) composers, such as Florence Price. Beginning in 2018, with Wave Theory Records we recorded Samantha’s debut album Four Women at Real World Studios, and I edited those recordings in preparation for release. As her profile has grown, I have provided solutions to a wide variety of challenges in her research. These have included transcription, editing and digitisation of Florence Price’s handwritten score for her Chicago Symphony, and audio restoration (forensic enhancement) of historic Nora Holt interviews (2026).
